The Internet is and will eventually come full circle and return to a world where "he who has the eyeballs wins".

The current problem is that you have an antiquated inherently un-democratic system of content distribution. The Internet is the ultimate democracy where the people can get what they want when they want it.

If Google and You Tube are delivering what the people want, they will get the eyeballs and ultimately the content and advertisers.

In the meantime, there is a huge window of opportunity for independent content providers and creators to create a new compensation model that cares for the creators, actors, etc., while also serving advertisers by delivering viewers.

It's time to revamp the food chain and forgo the greed in exchange for more volume and wider distribution. Ultimately the profits will pan out.

American Inventor Wannabe's Have New Outlet

If you wanted to be on ABC's American Inventor but didn't make it, a new web site may be your answer.

TenThousandBrightIdeas.com is a new web site that allows anyone with an idea (and $99) to post it on the web and receive feedback and votes from site visitors. The cost to post your idea is about $99 for a regular posting page and $195 for one that allows multi-media uploads such as video or audio presentations.

The site also has resource links for government agencies and other web sites that can help you promote and develop your idea such as the Patent & Trademark Office.

This site is promoted to business development executives, venture capitalists and the general public. This is good but as the site's disclaimer states, "post at your own risk". They make no guarantees that your idea will be seen or picked up for development as well as no guarantees that your idea won't be stolen.

Users of the site report increased site visitation and positive feedback from viewers.

American Idol Reviews - The MEN Are HOT!

We expect alot the the American Idol men of season 4 because they're just so darn great! Tonight, most played it safe and were disappointing. The band also leaves ALOT to be desired and the music director is OUT TO LUNCH. Here are our reviews of the performances:

Nikko Smith - 5701 - very mediocre performance. He can do better. He may be out this week but if he makes it - do better next week dude!

Scott Savol - 5702 - Scott, Scott, Scott... you are so fantastic, what happened? Again, a mediocre performance from a truly GREAT singer. Scott deserves to make it to next week just because he is sooooo good despite tonight.

Anthony Federov - 5703 - Yes, yes & yes. Polished but safe & a bit boring. We love you anyway and fully expect Anthony to be in the final 6.

Bo Bice - 5704 - Damn that boy can sing!!! We love you Bo! Rock on.

Travis Tucker - 5705 - Very nice performance. Great look. We'll see you next week I'm sure.

Constantine Maroulis - 5706 - We LOVE Constantine. All the makings of a star despite not the best vocal this week. Constantine is HOT HOT HOT!!! He will sell records with, as Simon put it, his "charisma".

David Brown - 5707 - So good but ... wrong song for him. Who's helping these guys pick their songs? Simon, you of all people should know better. Take your band leader and Trump him! (i.e. "You're Fired"). This was a waste of an awesome talent and amazing voice. Please do better next week.

Jared Yates - 5708 - He's a star no doubt. The performance didn't knock our socks off but... he's a star.

Anwar Robinson - 5709 - Talk about turning a sow's ear into a silk purse. Despite the lack luster performance of this lame band, Anwar turned it out. See you next week.

Judd Harris - 5710 - Fun performance but felt like I was in a Vegas lounge. Hope to see you next week but maybe not. Sorry...

Joseph Morena - 5711 - Very good voice. Okay song. Safe performance. We'll probably see you next week.

Mario Vazquez - 5712 - Of course my home boy would turn it out!! We LOVE Mario. Mario, you could really win this competition. You've got it all. The look, the voice, the charisma, the style, the performance ability. And you're just so fun to watch & listen to. See you next week dog.
